Edna Valley from Alban Vineyards

This painting which measures approximately 8 feet wide by 6 feet high at it’s highest point was commissioned by long time friends and clients to fit in a very particular place on their dining room wall. The angle of the top of the art parallels the pitch of the ceiling. The view represents that which can be seen from a north facing slope of their vineyard looking west up the Edna Valley towards San Luis Obispo California. This was a huge challenge to build let alone paint and was a multi month project. I worked closely with Chris Bailey of Bailey’s Handcrafted Frames to make sure that the framing fit the painting like a glove. I was really happy with the finished product!
